It’s just over one month away --- the 15th Annual Civil War Preservation Ball in the glory of the Pennsylvania State Capitol Building Rotunda --- 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. Saturday, March 10.
Dedicated to assisting the Pennsylvania Gettysburg Monuments Project, the ball help fund repairs and maintenance of the more than 140 markers and monuments that honor Keystone State regiments and individuals on the Gettysburg battlefield.
Sponsored by the Civil War Dance Foundation, this 15th annual edition of the ball could put the Dance Foundation over the $100,000 mark in total funds raised for the monuments.
Surrounded by the beauty and history of the Capitol Rotunda, the Civil War Preservation Ball benefits the Pennsylvania Gettysburg Monuments Project. Led by the Civil War Dance Ensemble, music will again be provided by the Philadelphia Brigade Band.
Tickets are $65 per couple, $35 for an individual. Civil War period dress is not required, though gentleman
in modern attire are asked to wear coat and tie and ladies are requested to be in a dress. Reservations are required and no tickets will be available at the door.
